I have been recruiting people to live and teach in Thailand for over 12 years, and have placed over a thousand teachers in that time in Thailand alone, with much, much more placed around the globe.
Many teachers find it difficult because there are so many mickey mouse operations trying to suck you in to work for them, and it's hard to differentiate the good from the bad.
It's also difficult to step into the unknown - it's a scary thing moving to another country - we know this. You have to start again, make new friends and get used to a country, culture and language.
